Desert Ironwood Damascus Hunter
Desert Ironwood Damascus Hunter
This knife was forged from decommissioned saw blades. There are remnants of the forging process left in various areas on the blade. This helps tell the story of how it was made. The handle is a Desert Ironwood. This wood is excellent for this purpose because it’s naturally stabile and looks beautiful! Desert ironwood is 2.5 times harder than White Oak and is considered one of the hardest woods in North America. The handle also has a forged in guard that really completes the comfortable and safe feeling handle. To pair with the knife is a leather sheath that was cut, stamped, stitched, and crafted in its entirety in house.
This knife measures 7.5 inches overall and has a blade length of 3.5 inches. The sheath is made to be carried right handed on the belt.
